When it comes to breastfeeding people become so critical with a decision that is up to me to make. I get so aggravated when people ask how long I breastfeed Madison or am I going to breastfeed this baby. Last night was one of those nights that I just wanted to go off on someone because the question was asked and it sort of bothered me.
My cousin and his wife had their baby boy on Thursday so we went Thursday night and last night to see the baby. Last night, a close family friend was there and she asked if I breastfeed Maddie and I said yes for 3 months (I also explained why I had to stop due to a lot of complications I was having) and she said that's it? I was like yes and she chuckled and told me how long she breastfeed her 2 kids (who.... I won't go there) Lol... Maybe I'm overreacting but I had to change the subject real quick because I felt myself getting an attitude. My opinion is that if you decide to breastfeed for however long you want and if you decide not to breastfeed at all that's perfectly fine because that's your decision.
People really get me sometimes.....
However, I am going to try and breastfeed the little one that's on the way and I hope she latches on properly so I can continue to do it and if she doesn't oh well. She will still be healthy and smart. Regardless, of what people say the decision is mine and it's all good.

Potty Training= Headache!
How many parents are experiencing the same thing? TONS.... And what do we do about it? I'm still trying to understand why it's such a struggle for her to go to the potty. Is it because she's still dependent on me? Is she lazy? Does she just want me to change the diaper because she's still in baby mode? I ask these questions because I don't know. This little 3 year old girl of mine can ask for anything and can do just about anything except tell me that she has to potty or even just go on her on. She knows all of her colors, can count to 20, knows her ABC's etc. I thought it would be easier to train her because I stay home with her... NOT! hahaha... I just don't understand! Maybe one day it will happen but its really working that little nerve I have left, especially because I have another little one on the way. HELP:-(

The Whiner

I can't stress enough how much Madison's whining gives me migraines. It's not that I don't love my daughter with everything in me and I know she's a baby but does she have to whine for no reason?I just want to run outside sometimes butt naked and scream. LOL.... I don't know what that would do but it would probably make me feel better! So- the reason I started writing this is because while I was writing my first blog the "the whiner" was pulling on me and whining, why? I don't know! People may read this and say something is wrong with her, but if you're not a parent you probably won't understand and some of you will. If you are a parent and you think its a bit harsh then oh well. People use to think I would exaggerate about being a Mother and about how Madison acts but I was far from exaggerating. When they would come around they would experience "the whiner" and realize I wasn't joking. I love the fact that my daughter is very outgoing and has such a great personality. She makes everyone smile and happy to be around her, give her a minute and she will light up any room, but she can be a handful. Sometimes I'm like how can someone so cute and small get on your nerves so bad. I must admit, the older she gets the better she gets. So- I know this too shall pass and that its just a stage they go through. I often wonder though, I bet God says the same thing about me, cause I know I get on his nerves all the time but he continues to love me anyway. So- I love her and I know I'll get through it! On a brighter note everyone says that the next one is always the opposite (there won't be a "next" one no time soon) so that's something to look forward too!
