Today was a good day!

I cooked dinner

Played candy land twice & a matching game twice with Madison & Daddy

Cleaned the entire kitchen

Folded 2 loads of laundry 

Cleaned the girls room & rearranged it a little bit.....

Why do I feel accomplished? 

Because most days I'd be lucky to remember I put a load of laundry in the washing machine.... Yes, you read that right! Sometimes I forget that I put clothes in the washer and would have to rewash it all over again. hehehehe... So, yeah ummmmm today was a good day:)

Happy New Year!

This year has definitely had its up's and down's but I made it through and if you're reading this, you made it too! This year I've renewed my vows after 5 years of marriage, raised to beautiful girls, cried a couple of tears, gained a few friends, and discovered a few things about myself. This year has not been easy but what year has? Life is full of challenges and through those challenges we learn how to be better people and learn from the trials that we've faced.

I'm excited about 2013 not because of anything in particular but just because its a New Year and I lived to see it:)

Shout out to my 4 amazing new followers, I gained before the end of 2012! 

I will be spending my New Year's Eve in church worshipping & Praising God. However, If you are doing something different or are doing the same thing. I wish you a very Safe, Prosperous, and Blessed year!

My Job

God is so amazing:)

I had a bad morning yesterday and let me tell you why!

I went out with my family yesterday to Golden Corral for breakfast and everything was going well until my cousin states that the boots I had on were cute and then started to joke about where I got them and how much I paid for them because my family knows that if I can find a great bargain I will certainly go with that. I mean who wouldn't? Lol..

However, it was funny for a while then it led from one thing to the next and to make a long story short he said these powerful words... "Oh, you don't do nothing but stay home with your kids, etc" honestly, he said more but I was so heated I actually forgot what he said. Now this is one of my favorite cousins and he says it a lot, I guess he gets a kick about me being a stay at home mom but I don't. 

I don't have a strong support system when it comes to me being home with the girls and I know I really don't  need one but it does help to have one sometimes. See a lot of the women in my family had to work (even my grandmother) so I am pretty much the only one in my family who has been afforded the opportunity to stay at home with my girls so it becomes a joke with them but they forget that I have feelings sometimes. 

A long time ago I use to be ashamed to tell people what I do now because not to long ago I had a job or 2 or 3:) 

BUT last night I was reading a post from my blogger friend Mrs. Tabb's and let me just say that the frustration I was feeling was lifted immediately. It was like God guided me to this post! So, I will stop rambling now and I want you to head on over and read Reasons you could be a SAHM and allow it to minister to your spirit.

For all SAHM's out there and to those who will soon be one, read this post and allow it to encourage you as well.

I am a proud stay at home mom and I thank God for choosing me for the Job!

Oh, how

I MISS MY LONG HAIR:( 

I cut it in February 2011 and at the time I felt like it was a great choice, even though the guy who cut it did NOT give me the bob I asked for. It still turned out cute but now as I looked over my FB photos I ran across a pic a few weeks before I cut my hair and I got all emotional because I started to miss my long hair. It's not really short but its not as long as it was either. I will show you before and after pics of my hair.

Its growing back ssssllllooooowwwwlllllyyyyy ....LOL.... So, I can't complain but I still miss my hair.
